Hey there, fellow cookie lover! I’m Emily, the sugar behind Sugared Grace Designs. Let me take you on a little journey through flour, sugar, and a sprinkle of creativity!

My love for Sugar Cookies started at the age of 6. It was the beginning of a fun-filled family tradition! My parents were off on a Christmas shopping adventure for date night while me and my brothers filled up on sugar!  Look how proud I was!😂

We did this every year and what started with the goal of the highest sprinkle pile turned into a competition of the prettiest christmas cookie!

Fast forward a few years, I graduated highschool and ended up working at a local bakery. I loved it so much! But all good things must come to an end, and in 2019 my husband and I left our home state of Ohio and moved to South Carolina. Most people are lucky if they find one job they love, but I hit the jackpot a second time! But things happen… 

You know what I’m talking about… the year 2020; when the world was taking a strange turn, I found myself unexpectedly without a job (thanks, Covid!), I decided to stir things up a bit. Nestled under the covers one Saturday morning, while contemplating my next move (and possibly dreaming of opening my own home bakery), a question popped into my head: How are cookie cutters made? And just like that, the oven mitts were off, and I dove into the world of sweet innovations.

After a whirlwind of YouTube tutorials and late-night CAD sessions, I found myself sketching adorable designs on my trusty iPad. Little did I know, those sketches would soon transform into full-fledged STL files, ready to bring joy to cookie enthusiasts everywhere.

I started with the simple intention of crafting my own cutters for a hypothetical bakery venture, but fate had other plans. Encouraged by the warm reception of the cookie community, I decided to sprinkle a little extra sweetness into the mix and launch Sugared Grace Designs LLC.
